On receipt of this a booking confirmation will be issued.
Cancellations received more than 7 days prior to dates of reservation will be refunded less a $NZ 20.00 administration fee. Reservations cancelled within 7-20 days period incur forfeiture of the $NZ 150.00 deposit. Cancellations made after travel has commenced receive no refund.
Estimated total rental charges are to be paid 14 days prior to departure. To the commencement of hire, hire cost is calculated on a 24 hour period.
Compulsory Standard Insurance is included in your quoted daily rate and covers the hired vehicle and third party property. Please note this has an excess of $NZ 1,000.00 GST inclusive. This applies to each accident the vehicle is involved in, whether the damage done to another vehicle (third party property) or the hired vehicle.
A security bond of $NZ 1,000.00 including GST must be paid at the commencement of each hire. This is fully refundable at the termination of hire subject to the hire vehicle returned in an undamaged and clean condition and the fuel level is the same as commencement of hire. An excess of $NZ 1,000.00 GST inclusive will be charged if the vehicle is involved in or causes an accident.
To reduce excess liability to NZ$150.00, there is an additional charge of NZ$8.00 per day.

If the vehicle is kept beyond the contractual rental period without authorization, the daily rate shall be double the contractual rate.
If the vehicle reserved for you is unavailable for any reason whatsoever, we reserve the right to substitute an alternative. In the event that an alternative is not available then Hoon Hay Hire Trading Ltd's liability is limited to a refund of all payments received.
An ordinary driver's license is all that is required. All drivers must present a current New Zealand, International or acceptable overseas drivers license and must be at least 21 years of age.
